General Summary:
Under general direction this position is responsible for directing the information and data Integrity of the organization for all Information Technology functions of the enterprise. This includes all data centers, technical service centers, production scheduling functions, help desks, communication networks (voice and data), computer program development, computer systems operations and all electronic and optical books and records. Provides overall management and definition of all computer and communication activities within the enterprise including responsibility for providing a leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology functions as well as providing direction as the organization grows through internal growth and external acquisition. The MIS Director adheres to the principals, philosophy and mission of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in all aspects of job performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences and/or Business Administration required with relevant experience in leading information technology implementation projects.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills, analyzing abilities, and management skills.
- Previous management experience, with a minimum of five years, leadership experience in various Clinical IT applications.
- Strong interpersonal, team building, communication, facilitation and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading re-engineering efforts.
- Demonstrate the ability to attend to detail or project follow-through and meeting deadlines
- Must be able to perform effectively under stress.
