Director of Clinical Research
SSM Health Westview Building, St. Louis, MO
Directs and oversees clinical research activities. Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards, and strategic plans.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans and manages financial operations, including budget development, expense and revenue analysis, evaluation of research services, and development activities.
- Plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, and evaluating performance.
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external sources, including other departments, research institutions, regulatory agencies, sponsors, funding sources, and the scientific/research community.
- Ensures that activities comply with federal, state, local, and internal regulations, and standards.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
- Seven years of experience with five years in leadership
