The Director, Human Resources is responsible for implementing Human Resources initiatives that support the needs of the business at our Atlanta facility. This role ensures that company policies and procedures are consistently and equitably applied and that all legal requirements are met. The Director Human Resources ensures that a positive employee relations climate is developed, reinforced and maintained. This role is responsible for operations regarding professional recruitment, seasonal recruitment, employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, record management, and policy development to employ best practices and create an employer of choice environment. This role leads human resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and training & development of a superior workforce. The Director will partner with organizational leadership on human resource issues and participate in HR strategic planning and budgeting process.

- Develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver business results.

- Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing and orientation, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, I-9 and AA/EEO compliance.
- Partner with Business and Functional Leadership, stakeholders, and Recruiting team to develop and implement an organizational recruiting strategy to hire top-quality seasonal and professional candidates to meet talent planning goals.
- Partner with the business on workforce planning, succession planning, skills assessment, people development and performance management.
- Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement.
- Facilitate effective communications, foster cultural change, and administer the employee relations policies and programs in compliance with company policy as expressed in the employee handbook.
- Support management by providing human resource advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications. Makes recommendations to organization strategic human resource thinking and direction. Establishes human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives/initiatives.
- Guide management and employee actions as it relates to policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Assist with development of corporate human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements for corporate human resource budget.
- Lead the development and implementation of HR services and programs.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to insure regulatory compliance. Identifies trends that could impact the organization objectives.
- Manage, coach and mentor the HR Manager, Recruiter and Seasonal Recruiting Teams.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, psychology, etc. or equivalent experience.
- Requires 5 or more years' experience in Human Resources.
- 3+ years of HR team leadership
- PHR or SPHR certification or other human resource related proficiency certification strongly desired.
- High volume or seasonal recruiting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the principles, practices and sound techniques of human resource administration and management.
- Work with sensitive, confidential material and demonstrate a strong ability to be confidential.
- Work as a role model in the adherence of policies and practices.
