Job Description:
We are seeking a Director, Corporate Services Procurement to lead a team of procurement professionals supporting our global corporate functions. This role is responsible for maximizing the value and service that Axalta internal stakeholders receive from the procurement team and our supplier partners The internal stakeholders include the C-Suite and their direct reports as well as the Procurement Leadership Team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive value optimization for ~$370 MM of global spend across IT, Professional Services, Real Estate, Marcom, Travel, Fleet, and other subcategories
- Lead a global team comprised of Category Managers and Sourcing Specialists
- Establish performance goals for structural cost savings, free cash flow, spend under contract, and other critical KPIs and drive team achievement of these goals
- Own development and execution of sourcing strategies that appropriately balance security of supply, cost, innovation, quality, free cashflow, and other value factors
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including those at a senior leadership level, to determine current and future sourcing needs and facilitate optimal cost savings/productivity plans for each respective category
- Develop and present meaningful market intelligence, market expectations, projections, and overviews of key procurement activities and performance
- Create and manage a highly responsive, service focused, collaborative and efficient procurement process
- Ensure the supply base continuously performs to expectations and offers optimal quality, service, technology, and value (QSTV)
- Directly negotiate higher-value supply agreements, lead high-impact quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and sponsor supplier relationship management (SRM) activities with strategic suppliers
- Oversee the effective development utilization of should-cost models, market intelligence, and other value analysis tools
- Lead, direct, and manage performance of team members including coaching and mentoring to build professional competency
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability by holding them highly accountable for results.
- Drive employee growth and development including development of a talent pipeline for all levels
- Harmonize procurement strategy with that of the BUs, other functions, and overall organization
People and Talent Management:
- Support and grow team members with a focus on career path development, diversity of thought and experience

- Partner with HR to build diverse slates for open roles and interview, select, and hire people managers and key technical talent as needed within the organization
- Lead employees using performance management processes and tools to engage and encourage employee contribution including goal setting, ongoing feedback, and annual performance reviews.
- Engage employees in career development planning and foster growth and development to support functional talent management, including identification and development of a pipeline of future manager talent
- Maintain transparent communication practices by appropriately communicating organization information
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of total Procurement experience, including 7+ years of procurement leadership experience in the corporate services area
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong problem solving and planning capability
- Balanced leadership style, adaptable situationally
- Ability to collaborate effectively across regions, audiences, and situations
- Unquestioned ethics and integrity, including the ability to work on confidential matters
- Able to identify and prioritize critical path issues
- Ability to effectively influence all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel 20% of the time or as needed
