Digital Operations Associate Contractor – Remote

Here's what you will do here:
- The operations will play an integral role in elevating Martha.com operations. This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily performance of our fulfillment operations and tech integrations to support launches, sales, and customer success
- This role works cross functionally with brand operations teams: Merchandising, Logistics, Digital Operations, Customer Service Team and 3rd Party partners
- The role will collaborate with a variety of departments to improve the customer experience and identify areas with opportunities for operational efficiencies within the digital business
- The role will work closely with the Director of Digital Operations on a range of projects and daily operational tasks
- This team member will also manage data inflow and outflow to provide the back-end support required for new vendor launches, new product launches, promotions, preorders, and restocks
- Manage vendor onboarding for dropship vendors via SPS Commerce and Fabric including but not limited to:
- Implement integration between drop ship vendor and drop ship platform via EDI, API or Browser based set up
- Facilitate shipping account set-up on the back end and assign vendor shipping account according to contractual terms
- Coordinate appropriate tests required for the drop ship vendor launch
- Oversee operations across digital sales channels for the e-commerce business for direct-to-consumer and dropship programs. The daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor in time orders and returns processing to ensure it meets our contractual SLA agreement
- Monitor in time delivery and shipping service to ensure it meets our contractual SLA agreement
- Inventory management via SPS Commerce, Fabric and 3PL system
- Rejected items at picking / cancellation rate
- Invoice management via SPS Commerce, Fabric and 3PL system
- Review and improve order flow for all integrated systems including 3PL, Net Suite, Fabric and SPS Commerce
- Audit mispicks, claims, damages, and return processes with DS vendors and 3PL to identify and solve open issues
- Partner with the 3PL team to ensure they are following our standard guidelines for ecommerce orders and purchase order (P.O.) processing
- Manage End-of-season returns to drop ship vendors when necessary
- Monitor all Purchase orders (P.O.) from start to finish including but not limited to:
- Review and submit ASN (advanced shipping notice) from all vendors that are shipping goods to our 3PL
- Monitor the delivery of P.O.'s and ensure that they are delivered in a timely manner
- Assist vendors with carton labels and ensure that all P.O.s have the required carton labels for receiving
- Partner with the Logistics team to schedule a P.O. delivery for domestic and international shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that the inventory is fully received at our 3PL in a timely manner, while addressing any inventory discrepancies that may arise
- Oversee inventory sync from our 3PL to Shopify
- Support the launch of new e-commerce items and categories by completing all back-end set ups required
- Audit special projects and product check requests completed by our 3PL
- Closely work with Customer Service team regarding client experience including shipping, returns, customer issues and website updates
- Share weekly and monthly digital operations (orders and returns) performance for ecommerce orders and Purchase Order deliveries (using Netsuite and 3PL system reporting)
- Liaises with the internal and external teams (Merchandising, Logistics, Digital Ops, 3PL, 3rd party vendors) on all communications about inventory management, back-end integration trouble-shooting open issues and finance
- Pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness
- Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives
- Adapts to changing work environments, work priorities and organizational needs
- Analyzes problem by gathering and organizing all relevant information
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, operations or related field is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital operations and/or logistical operations
- Experience working with E-commerce business platforms (Shopify, etc.)
- Proficient operations system skills (Net Suite, Fabric, SPS Commerce, etc.)
- Proficient computer skills including MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong management skills necessary to develop collaboration and partnerships across entire organization, 3rd party partners and outside agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
- Considers all pertinent facts and alternatives before deciding on the most appropriate action
