Job description
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital channel programs for DHI, increasing brand awareness, developing a robust community of followers through social media, promoting company products, services, or events, and driving prospects to conversions through appropriate technology platforms. This role coordinates and publishes content to multiple digital channels such as the corporate website, social media (organic and paid), email campaigns, blog posts, paid search advertising, and interactive media to drive effective customer-facing experiences and elevate the DHI brand. The Digital Marketing Specialist must have a proven track record working with digital marketing channels, as well as a depth of hands-on experience using digital tools to deliver digital tactics without any technical assistance.
DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all areas of digital marketing & social media distribution. This includes content / campaign deployment across channels, including the corporate website and intranet, social media, email campaigns, blog posts, paid search advertising, and interactive media.
- Collaborates with marketing, sales, and business units to develop online marketing campaigns.
- Monitors and evaluates trends, data, usage, competitors, and market/business conditions; recommends and executes on approaches to improve effectiveness of social media, email marketing, website conversions, and other digital channels.
- Publishes and maintains content on company intranet and assists with internal email communications.
- Monitors social media and alerts management of any crisis / issues.
- Maintains and executes the content calendar for social media.
- Maintains consistency of message across multiple channels.
- Maintains the digital asset management library.
- Adheres to digital privacy compliance regulations on projects.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to advance DHI social media practices and programs.
- Builds positive relationships across the company that foster a strong work environment.
- Stays up-to-date with digital media developments.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field. Previous experience in oil and gas is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 – 7 years of digital marketing experience.
- Experience working with enterprise content management systems, social media and marketing automation software (HubSpot preferred), and webinar platforms (Zoom, GoToWebinar).
- Experience with hands-on video development from beginning to end (including planning, filming, and editing).
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Skilled in graphic design, animation, and video software packages.
- Motivated, energetic, and creative thinker with initiative to recommend new digital marketing ideas.
- Marketing Automation certification, Google AdWords certification or Google Analytics certification preferred.
- Excellent creative skills and proficiency in the production of a variety of print and digital media materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Can work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and/or assignments.
- Expertise creating excel reports and PowerPoint presentations to communicate metrics and ROI.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
