Data Analytics & Digital Acceleration is a newly formed team that will lead the transformation of Consumer Health towards a data and digital-first culture with the deployment of rapid, high-value end-to-end (E2E) data products and solutions. This team will be responsible for targeted E2E Data and Digital outcomes that require a cross-functional focus to unlock our growth strategy leveraging Data Science/AI and Intelligent Automation.

The team is business-led, and technology-enabled, and will have a responsibility to enable the achievement of the J&J Consumer Health 3-year strategic growth objectives. Net Trade Sales Acceleration, Gross Profit Optimization, and Free Cash flow optimization. One of the key focus areas for this team will be to work closely with the regions to drive our data strategy and its activation.

We are recruiting a Data Management Coordinator to join our Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration team and help us push forward our data and digital-first vision! This position may be based in North America and open to consideration of talent at any major J&J Consumer Health Office location within North America (as well as Remote).

As a key member of the Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration Team, this role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with strategic external partners and leaders across the business and technology to passionately understand our data needs, help operationalize our global data strategy approach and roadmap, and drive data excellence within their region for the Consumer data domain and enable outcomes that matter in our local markets.

As a strategic problem solver, technologist, and expert in data management, this role will empower our technology and business partners through the delivery of high-quality, accessible data that will be foundational in achieving our digital-first ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Will coordinate data management (DM) activities within North America for the Consumer data domain, including the following:

  • Translation of business requirements into end-to-end data strategy: Helps translate business requirements for the Consumer data domain within North America into a structured, conceptual framework for the E2E data strategy across multiple business functions (e.g., Supply Chain, Commercial, Research & Development). Align data within the Consumer data domain in North America with the overall strategic requirements set forth by the Data Strategy & Activation Lead
  • Collaborate with data stakeholders: Partner with functional areas to establish standard processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Value realization leadership: Drive end-to-end value realization of data insights by anticipating & responding to rapidly changing business needs within the Consumer data domain in North America, translating external and internal insights into solutions that create value for the business
  • Ensure data quality through tactical assessments and subsequent action plans: Work with multiple business functions within the Consumer data domain in North America to resolve data gaps surfaced via data quality indices (DQI). Ensure adherence to data quality standards set forth by the Data Strategy & Activation Lead, and perform quality assessments as needed. Develop roadmaps and key milestones to address quality assessment findings
  • Activate usage of data products: Drive adoption of end-to-end data products, aiding in change management for adoption of the new ways of working throughout the process. Lead and produce important DM documentation (e.g., governance charter, source-to-target mappings) to aid in the data management and activation process
  • Data use-cases: Support the ideation, prioritization, market research, and investment efforts into key end-to-end use-cases
  • End-to-end value stream data and automation strategy: Identify opportunities within the Consumer data domain in North America wherein automation can be leveraged, as well as potential viable solutions through E2E data use-cases. Communicate said opportunities and use-cases to the Data Activation & Strategy Lead
  • Improve effectiveness of Data Management processes: Develop processes and communications to support data management improvement efforts

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or business-related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Quality, Analytics and/or Data Strategy, and developing Roadmaps
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Talend, etc.)
  • The ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a complex environment - leading through influence and deep collaboration across the enterprise
  • The ability to manage ambiguity and shape new initiatives/ businesses from scratch
  • Strategic thinking and big picture orientation /business acumen with strong interactions with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization and with external credibility
  • Has an innovative, agile, and high-performing teaming mindset
  • Familiar and stay abreast of technology - latest advances in the market, trends, and modern technology frameworks

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $88,000 to $142,025
