Merritt Clubs is currently seeking Dance Instructors at our White Marsh location to assist in growing the programs and services affiliated within the Dance Department. Instructors targeting all ages are encouraged to apply!
Job Requirements Include:
- Create growth in Dance classes by implementing strategies to maximize attendance and maintain appropriate levels of variety for members.
- Accurately record and measure Dance attendance and compare to class targets.
- Educate Team Members to reinforce the contributions Dance delivers and motivate them to support Dance to provide greater member engagement and retention.
- Educate members about the benefits of Dance and our programs and services and provide them encouragement in reaching their fitness goals.
- Greet all members and guests with a smile, by name whenever possible.
- Provide an energetic, engaging fitness experience during each class.
- Provide world-class instruction, clearly communicate technique enhancements and encourage skill and endurance improvement with all participants.
- Ensure that studios are clean, equipment is stored, audio systems are turned off and temperature gauges are restored to normal at the conclusion of my classes.
- Assist in training new Team Members and provide ongoing training and support for all Team Members.
- Consistently analyze my attendance results and adjust my goals as needed, on a day to day basis if necessary.
