Responsibilities:
-Daily cycle counts and required reporting in accordance with the OPW Retail Fueling cycle count policy and cycle count procedure.
-Ensure timely and accurate cycle counting and reconciliation.
-Root cause analysis and reconciliation of inventory inaccuracies.
-Bin audits, location clean-ups and follow-up counts as required.
-Ensure that all rack locations are properly identified and labeled.
-Assist other staff in the plant in the review and disposal of obsolete and slow moving inventory.
-Cycle count and dispose of obsolete materials as requested.
-Monitor department operations for inventory inaccuracies and problems.
-Process inventory adjustments per the OPW Signature Process Matrix.
-Utilize Lean concepts and provided tools in order to improve the production process.
-Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors regarding pertinent shift/inventory information.
-General material handling duties as needed.
-Adhere to all company safety guidelines.
-Manage housekeeping in immediate work area. Assist others as needed in housekeeping duties to ensure a safe work environment.
-Perform other work activity as needed deemed necessary by management for the completion of product orders.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Essential Job Functions:
-Must be able to work Monday thru Friday from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm. Working overtime is required.
-High School Diploma or GED.
-Must have the ability to read, write and speak the English language.
-Must be self-directed to work independently as well as possess the ability to work in a team environment.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
-Must possess proficient PC skills. Must be able to use a keyboard and have basic PC skills aptitude.
-Working knowledge of Oracle and Team Center is desirable.
-Must be able to read, comprehend and follow standard work instructions.
-Must have excellent finger dexterity to work with small parts.
-Experience using small hand tools.
-Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds of weight manually on a frequent and repetitive basis.
-This position does required a high degree of physical labor. Applicants should be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, twist and move objects frequently and repetitively throughout the shift.
-Must be able to work in weather extremes.
-Must be able to wear required PPE.
-Must be able to apply basic math skills and accurately record counts.
-Must possess attention to detail as it pertains to accurate counting as well as solid decision making skills.
