Transdev Services, Inc. is hiring immediately a Customer Service Representative at its Baltimore, MD office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive a superior level of service and assist with questions and concerns. They will also provide information in response to inquires about the service and handle and resolve complaints.

Responsibilities:
- Receives and answers customer inquirer and requests regarding accounts, rates, lost items, and services offered.
- Follows-up on customer inquiries and research requests and concerns for the appropriate solutions to assure satisfactory completion.
- Monitors, evaluates, and presents solution to potential problem areas.
- Trains, explains tasks, and assists in the solution of problems.
- Resolves customer questions related to orders, takes orders as needed.
- Maintains close liaison with other departments to carry order through to completion.
- Analyzes transactions, corrects records, and adjusts errors.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- High school of college courses in computers, English, or business is helpful.
- 2 years customer service or basic office experience required.
- Basic to intermediate computer knowledge/PC experience helpful.
- Proven interpersonal skills dealing with the public required.
- Pleasant telephone voice/manner.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills required. Must be able to speak English. Bi-lingual speaking skills may be required at some locations.
- Excellent written communications skills a must.
- Ability to interact professionally and friendly with internal customers on all levels and be able to work well with diverse groups.
- Ability to deal patiently and friendly with external customer problems and complaints and remain courteous when faced with difficult or angry customers a must.
- Must be a team player yet able to work well independently.
- Must be able to work on various shifts or flexible work schedules.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

- 100% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen.
- Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand-wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to travel for company training, meeting or support missions.
