Groups are put in a room full of cryptic puzzles and hidden clues and have exactly 60 minutes to solve the clues and escape the room.

In this position, you will equip our teams with the best possible training by evaluating and translating current training into engaging educational courses, identifying training gaps, and creating a curriculum to fill those gaps. The Curriculum Designers' responsibilities will include selecting appropriate instructional methods, defining time-frames, determining and controlling budgets, and preparing training materials in physical and digital formats.


Responsibilities


In terms of training systems and execution, the Curriculum Designer will be in charge of the following:

  • Ensuring training material and training processes are sufficient to teach our Corporate and Field teams how to perform their roles to the Red Door standard
  • Design detailed educational curriculum, including dates, topics, and number of hours required per activity/course, and implement completion and time tracking accountability
  • Create engaging training course content (videos, quizzes, and activities)
  • Set learning objectives for each course, and determine evaluation criteria
  • Organize physical and digital resources for instructors and trainees
  • Provide manuals and guidelines on how to use online training material
  • Follow up with trainees and instructors after each course and collect feedback to utilize in refining future training
  • Research and recommend modern educational methods and platforms
  • Ensure that sign-offs for completing training are clear and followed through with so that people receive training before receiving sign-off/compensation for doing the role
  • Measuring training compliance and effectiveness, especially after rollouts
  • Work with Operations training managers to create and signoff on operations-specific training content
  • Assisting with offsite training as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of work experience as a Curriculum Designer or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Software
  • Familiarity with video editing software
  • Ability to write clear instructional copy
  • High-level communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Proficient in office software
  • BSc/Ba degree or comparable work experience in Instructional design, Educational Technology, Education, or other relevant fields
