As a Counselor, you will work in our youth partial care located in Trenton, Mercer County NJ.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 8:00pm (school year); 9:00am-5:00pm (summer) – meals shared with consumers

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling and support

Provide activities to address daily living skills

Provide recreational and socialization activities

Provide services to families such as referral, advocacy and service linkages

Participate in the development, review and updating of individual treatment plans and comprehensive assessments

Participate in the development of discharge plans and making needed referrals

Assist youth directly to address self-care needs

Participate in case conferences

Provide support to auxiliary staff, student interns and volunteers

Assist in the development of staff orientation programs

Maintain clinical documentation

Perform related studies as needed and appropriate to the provision of partial care services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BSW) in relevant mental health related field (counseling, social work, psychology, etc.); Master's degree in related field, preferred
• Valid Driver's License in good standing
