An established and rapidly growing Millwork company is looking for a Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Preparing and justifying the accuracy of financial statements, implementing policies and procedures that will yield accurate financial reporting. Will also aid in presentations to the Board of Directors showing the company's financial performance. The Controller will be an integral part of the growing management team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare financial statements
• Complete Month and Year-end Close Procedure
• General Ledger Maintenance
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel
• Monitor Cash position
• Assist management with important financial decisions
• Monitor financial performance and make recommendations to improve performance
• Work with external tax and audit personal
• Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors
• Be proficient in software--Viewpoint

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 5 years of Accounting Experience
• General Knowledge of “Cost to Complete” Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam and Viewpoint
• Detail orientated with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
