COMPENSATION
$110 per hour
POSITION– Sr. Contracts and Procurement Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze vendor use, as a portfolio analyst might manage a Retirement Mutual Fund.
  • Coordinate and prepare commercial procurement scope of work and specifications of contracts for professional/technical services, contract/agreement documents and Requests for Bids and Proposals; analyze needs; recommend sourcing options.
  • Prepare, review and monitor procurement contracts and/or agreements; ensure general compliance with established terms and conditions; conduct risk analysis for service agreements; prepare analytical and statistical reports.
  • Serve as a procurement process liaison between other contractors or vendors; coordinates operational needs when necessary.
  • Facilitate evaluation of bids and proposals received in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Qualification (RFQ) Request for Information (RFI) or Quick Quote.
  • Assist engineering and technical staff in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and agreement documents in compliance with established guidelines and general requirements.
  • Ensure practices and procedures remain aligned with the procurement goals and objectives (i.e., cost savings, expedited purchasing, and open competition).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, finance, economics or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Five (5) years' experience in the preparing, administrating, and monitoring contracts and procurement work. Oil and Gas experience is highly desirable.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY:
  • Commercial Creativity
  • Technical, facilities, electrical engineering skills
  • General understanding to read engineering take offs / drawings
  • Methods of mitigating commercial risk.
  • Commercial creativity in negotiations
  • Methods and techniques of the procurement process and contract analysis.
