About us
We're a family of 4, we have a team of professionals and paraprofessionals that support our daughter's rehabilitation. We offer a pleasant home environment within our family. This is a great opportunity to gain experience for future OTs, PTs, and other rehabilitation positions. We do occasionally travel, so there is an opportunity to join us for travel and other activities. A good fit with our family and daughter is important to all of us!
We are looking for an energetic and kindhearted caregiver to join our family and make a difference in our child's life. We are seeking somebody that can connect and empathize with our smart, friendly, outgoing teenage daughter with cerebral palsy, while also assisting with all activities of daily living and some household chores. Looking for a person that could stay with our family for several years and be part of it! No experience necessarily but with a big heart, kind and compassionate - we can train you on what is needed. Please non smoking only, somebody organized, energetic, clean, reliable and on time. Experience in housekeeping tasks and experience in caring for children or adolescents with disabilities make you a strong candidate.
Ideally seeking graduates or students in relevant rehabilitation majors - physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, education, nursing, etc.
Must have an Associates/Bachelors degree (in any major) or working towards a degree.
We are seeking part time / full time specifically for weeknights (overnight/3rd shift) and shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Looking to start training immediately (beginning/mid May).
