Skilled Nursing Facility with Rehabilitation in Nampa Idaho is seeking Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistants- CNA - to join our team!

Skilled Nursing Facility in Idaho, located in Nampa ID, is an 80-bed facility providing long-term, and acute care services to residents living in the facility. Often our residents require additional high acuity care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, dementia, Alzheimer's, various mental disorders, and wound healing, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your residents and their families.

NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.

Qualifications/Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Valid certificate in the state employed.

· Valid CPR Certification preferred

· 6 months of recent experience preferred. 6 months of Long-Term care setting preferred.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

Essential Functions

· Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.

· Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.

· Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas.

· Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.

· Assists resident with ambulation as indicated in the facility.

· Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.

· Documents ADLs, resident personal cares, and device use on flow sheets or task sheets as directed.

  • Knowledge of infection control
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
