Olney Counseling Center has an immediate need for skilled and independent mental health clinicians to join our team.

• The ability to grow your client base as we provide you with new referrals.

Position Overview:

• Provide direct clinical service to clients including screenings, assessment, brief intervention, individual/family counseling.
• Intake and completion of psychosocial history.
• Completion of treatment plans and progress notes meeting industry standards for timeliness.
• Work collaboratively with all clinicians in the practice to promote teamwork.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed and certified to provide therapy in the State of Maryland (LGSW, LICSW, LPC, Ph.D, or Psy.D).
• Has a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Must be willing to provide services as an independent contractor.
• Available for a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Has a wide range of experience and is comfortable working with clients of all ages.
• Eager to increase client load, join a professional organization, and help drive measurable outcomes for clients.
• Interested in working in a team environment built on values of respect, authenticity, and mindfulness.
• Motivated, proactive, and actively collaborates with other providers within and outside of the organization to ensure high quality and culturally relevant care.
• Recognizes his/her own clinical strengths and weaknesses.
• Provides services within his/her scope of practice.

Commons surfaces are sanitized regularly. Patients that report a positive Covid 19 test are required to provide a negative Covid 19 test result prior to scheduling the next appointment.
