Right at Home West LA assists seniors (in their homePassionate caregiver for elderly) by providing them personal care and companionship assistance. Our clients really need someone who is patient, caring and wanting to do this work. You may be asked to help clients bath, get dressed, ambulate, do errands, take a walk, or basic companionship and more.

Qualifications and Skills: · High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

• Two years of experience as a Caregiver in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Home Care Aide (HCA) license issued by the State of CA (If you don't have HCA you must be willing to get one, this will require to pass a background check)
• Full Covid 19 vaccination
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities/Duties)
Perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

• Personal hygiene (assisting in the bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom

• Financial incentives – we offer a robust bonus program (up to $500 in the first 5 months) and competitive pay- Up to $18 to start with 2+ years confirmed Home Care Aide experience, willingness to work at least one weekend day (i.e. Saturday or Sunday), and ability to drive clients (i.e. valid driver's license, own car with valid car insurance and registration).*
