Outside Sales

Department: Sales

Reports to: Service Manager

Primary Role:

Hunter position. Call on prospects to identify, qualify and close managed service contracts. Develop and update prospect lists to drive ample new opportunities on a weekly basis. Utilize Sandler Training sales techniques to advance and expand business volume.

Key Attributes:

  • Candidate must have the ability to negotiate and sell high-ticket items and build deep relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Candidates must be confident in calling on C-Suite / VP level prospects
  • Candidate must have a history of reaching and exceeding sales targets

Hunter Role Accountabilities:

  • Comfortable in pursuing leads, risking rejection and asking tough questions
  • Implements weekly prospecting behaviors to build a robust pipeline
  • Drives sales forward through identifying budget and the decision-making process
  • History of reaching and exceeding sales targets
  • Follows a systematic process to close business
  • Comfortable spending 75% of the day outbound prospecting by making 30+ calls per day
  • Accurately log and maintain all activity and leads in company sales log
  • Increase customer base and maintain accounts as required to retain long-term clients
  • Develop all prospects within assigned market/territory
  • Promptly follow-up on all leads and opportunities
  • Understand and apply project pricing systems
  • Appraise and evaluate current IT systems to determine options and best solutions for clients
  • Identify sales opportunities, qualify, develop solutions and drive decisions to close sales
  • Prepare complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required

Compensation: Base salary + commissions
