KTVT CBS O & O in Fort Worth has an immediate opening for a dynamic hardworking control room automated Newscast Director (ELC). We are looking for strong leadership in and out of the control room while fulfilling production needs for fast-paced scripted breaking news coverage, sports, and entertainment productions.

Responsibilities:
Coding, ELC Directing, operating robotic camera and audio systems
work on remote productions and a skillset that includes robotic and manual camera operation, in the field and in the studio
Clear concise communication and direction with management, producers, graphic artists, engineering staff, hub crews and production coworkers to prepare and implement technically clean productions
Provide leadership for production prep and execution
Manage Production staff during assigned shifts to develop a positive working environment and successful operations
React in a calm and effective manner to fast-paced, 'live' television and multimedia environments
Apply technical expertise and creative style to create interesting productions within accepted guidelines and standards

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
College degree or equivalent preferred
5+ years of experience coding and directing 'live' newscasts and other productions in a medium to major market
Some experience with audio operation will be considered as a strong asset
Knowledge and experience with Sony ELC automation system
Proven leadership and technical skills
Ability to function well in a team environment
Attention to details
Time management in balancing multiple projects and deadlines
A positive influence, collaborative, and a giving member of the tea
