We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as an Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst on the NA Regulatory & Environmental Affairs Team!
Summary
Regulatory Compliance (Safety, Energy efficiency, FDA, EMC, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Monitor and summarize any federal laws and state bills, laws, regulations and standards and report with key findings and implications to LG products
- Dealing with the clarification with relevant governments, industry associations, law firms, etc. upon request and support in handling the enforcement actions from governments and industry associations
- Support and participate in the rulemaking progress with respect to relevant laws, regulations, and standards while maintaining positive relationships with appropriate organizations (government, NGO, industry association, rulemaking, etc.) to enhance LG’s reputation
- Support global factories and HQ in regulatory matters and compliance and gather data and submit reports to agencies or other entities as required
Qualifications
- BS degree in engineering and/or related majors required; MS degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience in related field preferred
- Organizational Skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced team
- Must have strong communication, influencing and executional skills, and a desire to work in a complex and challenging fast- paced environment
- MS Office (Excel and Power point)
