Overview:

Looking to work in small intimate setting? Vintage House Soap Factory, a small business in West Seneca, NY, is seeking individuals who are passionate about bath and body products and fragrance. We hand craft all wholesome natural products in our brick and mortar location daily. The assistant store manager will assist us in creating a positive, efficient work environment.

This position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in supervising and managing store operations.

Responsibilities:

• Aides in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures of productivity standards.
• Helps to coach, counsel, and direct employees.
• Operates and maintains the stores schedule, assuring adequate coverage of the stores open hours.
• Greets customers, answers phones, and operates checkout.
• Oversees daily operations and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Assists in organizing sales and product promotions and recommendations for improvements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead staff, help customers and work with management are required.
• Good time management skills to are required to set realistic deadlines and follow specific steps to reach time sensitive objectives.
• Be comfortable working 8-12 hours a week.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2 years of retail management experience or associates degree in related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
