Position: Architectural Designer
Education/ Experience Fields of Interest: Degree in Industrial design, Architecture (With experience in product design and development) or Digital Design Trade School or 5+ Years
Experience in a comparable industry utilizing 3D design software listed below
Professional and Organizational Skills Required:
● Willingness to be trained in our specific methods and processes
● Ability to maintain a clean and professional work space
● Experience and understanding of process workflow
● Clear written and verbal communication skills with project lead designer and executive project managers
● Self driven and motivated work ethic
● Capable of problem solving while still meeting the demands of the project Design
Responsibilities & Skills Required:
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a nurbs based 3D modeling software
● Ability to add further detail and dimensions to provided models from CAD software
● Understanding of tolerances between parts and necessary material thickness for durability in final product production.
● Ability to maintain correct scale that has been previously established with reference cubes.
● Ability to model hard surfaces, contours and lines, part thicknesses, not just character and organic forms.
CAD Software (Proficiency in one or more of the following programs required):
● Rhino 3D
● Fusion 360
● Spaceclaim
● Solidworks
2D Design Software (Proficiency in one or more of the following programs required:
● Photoshop
● Illustrator
● Substance Painter Primary
Physical Demands:
● Walking
● Sitting/ Working at a computer for up to 12 hours per day
● Willingness & ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Experience in these fields is a plus:
● Digital manufacturing tools: 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines
Pay is depending on experience

Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
