HX5 is currently seeking an Admin Specialist to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This position will report to our Security Manager and provide security support to the corporate office. Additionally, this position will support other related duties in MIS, HR and Finance as needed.
Summary
The Admin Specialist will provide day-to-day support to the HX5 team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Security, MIS, Finance, and HR team.
- Collect and enter data relevant to assigned tasks via spreadsheets and/or databases to support the Security Department
- Conduct/Participate in required annual briefings and training to include tracking metrics.
- Provide customer service to employees related to personnel security questions, foreign travel reporting and visit requests.
- Participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
- Provide support to various other departments as needed.
- Interested in learning processes related to data entry, information assurance, cybersecurity, and database management.
- Understands the requirements of and ability to adhere to security and privacy regulations.
- Working knowledge of DISS, EQIP, NISS a plus, but not required. Willing to train.
- Interested in Security related field/profession helpful.
- Capable of working at the direction general supervision or as part of a team.
- Flexibility with change in daily activities.
- Interest in data entry, data clean-up and simple database management tasks.
- Understanding of documentation authoring and upkeep.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical, Legal, or related field preferred. No experience required.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
This position does not require travel.
Clearance
- This position requires a security clearance.
- Must have the ability to obtain an Interim clearance within 2 months of hire date.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance within six (6) months of hire date.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance within twelve months of the date of hire.
