Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is the medical group managing The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s outpatient physician clinics. Due to our continued growth to provide health care to the Columbus area we are currently expanding our leadership team and seeking an Administrative Assistant II.


Administrative Assistants perform diversified and highly confidential administrative and office support activities for the senior leadership and their teams.

  • Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Administrative Assistants demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills, handling sensitive and confidential situations; interacting and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization with poise, tact and diplomacy; and develops strong collaborative relationships.
  • Candidates must have a professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm in a high-pressure, fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Should have demonstrated knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to provide continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials is required.
  • Assistants are highly organized self-starter who can establish priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to gather and report data in meaningful format is a must.

About our Administrative Assistant II:

Administrative Assistants II are responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support for various executives and senior leadership at OSUP.


  • Provides assistance to leaders through special projects and administrative functions. Anticipates needs and proactively develops proposed responses or actions to ensure leadership is supported.
  • Manages calendars through collaborating effectively with all attendees to ensure leadership schedules are appropriate and efficient. Is responsible for meeting and event coordination and preparation including, managing communications, preparing materials and ensuring space is available and prepared.
  • Arranges detailed travel arrangements to ensure all needs are met. Processes expenses and reimbursements in accordance with the company policies.
  • Prepares routine reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manages office supplies, including ordering, distribution and monitoring.
  • Maintains highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Communicates internally and externally with a diverse group of customers. Liaise with individuals across all level of the organization to triage, direct and provide support to individuals when needed.
