Accounts Payable Specialist
Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is growing! We are looking for an energetic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. Located near downtown Louisville, we have a culture of teamwork, cooperation with other team members, and a family atmosphere that sets us apart.
Denton Floyd is well-capitalized and has a proven record of year over year growth. We are involved in the ownership and management of multi-family residences and apartments. We also run a successful construction and commercial development division. A successful employee in this role will be well-positioned to grow professionally as the company grows.
Responsibilities include:
- Professional and friendly customer service
- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Processes routine monthly payments as approved.
- Answers vendor questions by researching accounts

Qualities Desired In A Successful Candidate:
- High school education or equivalent is required; college degree is a plus but not a requirement.
- 1 year of accounting and 1 year of accounts payable required.
- One year minimum experience in residential property management, Construction or related field is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills, especially in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
