CareGivers is looking for an outstanding, career-minded Personal Care Aide, HHA, or CNA to join our team. In this position, you would be exclusively working Onondaga County OFA casework in a specified territory. You would be guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours a week,*** but could be scheduled up to 30 hours/week, and would need to be available Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm

A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position – this is not optional. You will be visiting multiple clients in your territory – 2 to 3 hours per client – and you may need to run errands or do shopping for some clients. You will be paid for travel time between clients which is included in your 20-30 hours/week. You will also be paid mileage in between clients, and mileage for any errands or shopping you do for clients.

Available Territories:

• Territory A: Position Filled
• Territory B: Liverpool, Baldwinsville, North Syracuse

Shifts: Guaranteed 20 hrs/week, could be scheduled up to 30 hrs/week – need to be available Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm

Enhanced rates offered for this position, $19.80 per hour. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, dedicated, and compassionate – these are essential traits for this position.

• If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.

***The guarantee excludes any loss of hours because of an inability on your part to work your scheduled shifts

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for providing personal care and supportive services which may include (but are not limited to) assisting the client in activities of daily living, providing light housekeeping services to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client, and making sure they follow their medication schedule.

• Must be a certified PCA*, HHA, or CNA
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs – ask us how!

• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license* required – you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional. (*clean – no major violations)
