About us

Position Summary: The role here is similar to a coach in that you not only teach the boys what to do but you do it alongside them. You are responsible for the care and supervision of the boys on work jobs. You are responsible for waking the guys up, getting them and yourself prepared for the work job that day. There are two different shifts one for morning and one for afternoon. You will actively work with the guys on the work jobs to finish the job. That way they are learning through example. You also will be responsible for filling out the necessary paperwork and collecting the money for the job that you do that day from the customer.

Work jobs could include mowing and leaf jobs during the spring, summer, and fall, helping move people out of their house, yard cleanup, or other odd jobs that people need done. Another aspect of this job is donation pickup which follows the same routine as work job but instead of doing yard work you are picking up people's donations and bringing them to our thrift store. Part of this job is building trust and demonstrating Christian principles to the guys here. You do daily life with the boys in eating meals with them, teaching them skills, guiding them in making good decisions, building their confidence, and being someone that they can depend on.

Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch is a boys ranch near Branson, MO. Our goal is to not only change a young man's life, but impact him while he is here by teaching him the values of hard work, respectfulness, responsibility, honesty, and Christian values through our actions as staff members. We teach by being a loving example and modeling how the Bible can change anyone's life if we obey the Lord's commandments and do the things he has taught us to do.
