Located at the Greentree Landfill in our Centralized Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 635 Toby Rd , Kersey, PA 15846, we seek a Treatment Plant Technician who will be responsible for helping to operate and maintain the facility. The facility is a biological and chemical treatment facility. The individual fulfilling this role must be flexible to work alone or with coworkers and be willing to learn and complete several tasks. A maintenance background is a plus. We are seeking an applicant to work 4 to 5 days per week 8 to 10 hours per shift. The facility is 24 hours a day, 7days a week operation. We are looking for a day shift and a night shift position. This position will include training in both operations, maintenance and some basic laboratory work in our onsite lab. Responsibilities include:

• Daily operations, general maintenance, operations of solids removal equipment and some general labor tasks around facility
• Dump and clean plate and form press, belt press
• Work with other plant operators and mechanics to operate and maintain facility
• May include some tasks associated with working with customers and tracking materials
• Mix and track materials and chemicals needed to operate facility
• Follow and enforce all required Noble safety policies and procedures

Position Requirements

• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with coworkers or alone to complete task
• Willing to work 40 to 50 hours per week
• Liquid waste treatment, preventive maintenance or a mechanical background a plus
