We are looking to fill the Warranty and Service Adminstration postion. This is a full-time Monday-Friday position from 8:00am-4:30pm.

Job Overview

The Warranty & Service Administration Associate is primarily responsible for preparing warranty claims. This role will oversee the process from beginning to end. The associate in this role will discuss the order and expectations with the customer, prepare warranty documents, recording and submit paperwork to the manufacturer, and track requests to ensure ADU is paid for all warrant work done. Certain tasks maybe asked that do not fall into the essential functions of this job.

Essential Functions

1. File the warranty claims with Manufacturers

2. Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacture guidelines

3. Submit claims quickly and efficiently

4. Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work

5. Keep accurate inventory of ordered warranty parts and organize vendor paperwork

6. Develops proper warranty procedures in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

7. Provides warranty policy training to appropriate branch employees and customers in conjunction with manufacturer representatives

8. Evaluates and tracks the warranty services offered and performed

9. Provides extended warranty data and pricing to sales department in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

10. Ensures warranty literature and reference material are current and distributes information to appropriate branch employees

11. Discusses the warranty claims and expectation with customers

12. Track and follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly

13. Process all manager approved policy adjustments

14. Obtains credits from manufacturers

15. Performs other duties as requested by manager

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role and may sit or use PC for long periods of time. Bending, reaching, or stooping may be necessary for use of filing cabinets or other office cabinets or office machines.

Expected Hours of Work

Days and standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional work on Saturdays may be expected, as well as approved overtime or extended hours.

Required Education and Experience

1. A high school diploma or equivalent

2. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not needed

3. 2 + years of experience working with appliances or service warranties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
