Essential Job Functions

• Executes office moves and transports materials
• Delivers materials to various departments throughout the university
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks
• Receives warehouse deliveries; sorts and stores items according to department standards
• Assists with maintaining inventory controls, including electronically recording, tracking and counting physical inventory
• Monitors and maintains warehouse and work area organization to keep department operations running smoothly
• Shovels or plows snow on campus grounds as needed
• Operates warehouse vehicles (e.g., warehouse trucks, forklift, etc.) as needed, and assists with the daily inspection of warehouse equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Experience working in a warehouse, operations or in other related work
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Forklift operator’s license or a willingness to obtain such licensure upon hire
• Current/valid DOT medical card
