NewAge Products Inc. (NAP), headquartered in North York, is a manufacturer and distributor of premium Garage, Outdoor Kitchen and Home Bar Categories. Our Distribution Center in Tinley Park, Illinois is looking for a passionate, motivated and results driven Warehouse Specialist.

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing of returns and assisting with special projects and in the distribution center. Receives customer returns in WMS system. Carries out cycle count responsibilities and interacts with internal customers, warehouse staff and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts daily cycle counts of the warehouse and maintains a 99.9% Inventory accuracy
• QC Checks outbound and inbound orders
• Processes Parcel orders
• Helps sort, wrap, strap and unload containers as needed
• Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies
• Process all returns in the warehouse from beginning to end with in 24hrs
• Heps with special projects assigned by the DC manager, Supervisors or leads
• Works with all the departments to insure inventory accuracy is maintained
• Audit and maintain locations such as RCV, QCLOST and overflow warehouses
• Makes system transfers of all overflow warehouses movements
• Resolves any mispicks, overages or under picks
• Takes on additional responsibilities delegated by the DC manager or delegated person when he is out of the office or on DC visits.
• Ensures all product is labeled properly and product demensions are updated with new and existing products.
• Responds to corporate with any returns
• Makes Inventory adjsutments once approved by customer or authorized personel
• Updates various programs and spreadsheets used for tracking and documentation
• Sends end of day reports
• Assists office clerks duities when needed
• Backup the Logistics Coordinator with processing orders through 3PL Central

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Maintains and promotes high standards of customer service maintaining a good relationship with the customers
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret international customs and government customs documents
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence emails.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, vendors, customers and co-workers.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software programs, Excel, Word
• Use of in house WMS system
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
