Job description

We are looking for a warehouse/yard customer service representative. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking product, delivering loads and helping customers load materials. The successful candidate will need to be motivated, stay on task, work efficiently and provide exceptional customer service. This is a temporary seasonal position, 40 hours per week with the opportunity to work into permanent full time with benefits. Flexibility for winter hours exist for student applicants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup per schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Put away warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies with inventory
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate warehouse forklifts and other equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

• Ability work on your feet for the entire shift
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to repeatedly lift objects in excess of 50lbs
• Ability to run a forklift (will train)
• High school degree or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
