Job Description
Receiving, stocking, preparation, and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drive/Operate forklift and electronic pallet jack.
- Pick merchandise from slots.
- Load merchandise into trucks.
- Drop merchandise from 'reserve' to 'pick' slots.
- Prepare 'Via' merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
- Repack loose merchandise.
- Performs housekeeping duties as assigned.
External Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Selecting experience in a warehousing environment.
- Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
- Bending, stooping, climbing, standing, and twisting for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 70-100 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
