As our client’s Wall Panel Designer, you will design projects utilizing MiTek design software for both residential and commercial projects of Roof and Floor trusses designs from blueprints. You will resolve architectural and structural design conflicts. You will understand loading conditions and compute loads and grade requirements and material factors to determine design specifications based on customer’s structural design needs. You will ensure economical and proper use of materials per current inventory levels and material costs and produce materials lists to purchaser. You must be able to take initiative to resolve any problems as they arise either with project design or customer’s needs.

About You

• Minimum of 2-year degree in design or related experience/training

• Basic computer knowledge and design software utilization

• Knowledge of construction industry

• Strong visualization skills, math skills

• Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally with engineers, customers and peers in a professional manner.

• Time management, organizational skills

• Team player

• Remote only available with 5 years of MiTek Structure software experience

The Company is a custom manufacturer serving the construction industry. It manufactures roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels (including tall walls) and floor panels. It also provides engineered wood products (EWP) LP’S I-joist and LVL.
