Your role will be to lead a team that works closely with advisors to design, grow, manage, and transition their own independent firms. By leveraging a combination of in-house expertise and a curated suite of third-party vendors, you and your team will help advisors thrive with Commonwealth’s support.

• Increasing the value of our relationship with large enterprises by developing liquidity strategies and succession planning needs
• Building on the current equity investment model to structure a Commonwealth-funded growth engine for key qualified firms
• Understanding the value propositions of our outsourcing capabilities and vendor partners by interpreting the best use of those services for advisors
• Managing relationships with internal partners and outsourcing vendors, developing governance and reporting, and growing the suite of outsourcing providers
• Presenting at business consulting programs and Commonwealth conferences
• Writing for the Commonwealth Business Review and the Commonwealth Independent Advisor blogs

• 15+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, including at least 5 years’ experience in a management role, preferably in a practice management or consulting discipline
• Broad and deep knowledge of the issues facing small business owners and financial advisors
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• FINRA Series 7 securities registration
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, the RIA and broker/dealer landscape, and general business management issues
