What we are looking for:

A client focused, experienced Receptionist/Customer Service Representative with strong Customer Service Skills seeking a long-term position.

What to expect:

The Veterinary Receptionist/CSR's primary duty is interacting with clients in several communication methods and coordinating communication between doctors, veterinary assistants and the clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Being attentive to client and pet needs. Identify and work compassionately and patiently with clients in various emotional states. Answer and triage phone calls from clients. Schedule appointments and procedures. Check-in clients. Monitor client flow and schedules. Client call backs. Managing record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices. Discharge patients. Client education. Process payment transactions. Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record. Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management. Computer skills: Able to use Windows based computer systems, email, web search, internet based phone and messaging system and other skills needed to effectively use the practice management software program.

The position is Full-Time or Part-Time with occasional Saturdays required. The individual must be able to multi-task and perform efficiently under stress. Excellent customer service is our priority. Previous face-to-face successful customer interaction is a critical trait to excelling as a Receptionist/CSR and a positive attitude is a must. Candidates should be professional, organized, and motivated to work hard and follow through with tasks involved. Computer proficiency is a must. Benefits are based on Full Time Status. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
