Beach Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly and out-going individual to join our amazing team!

Hospital Overview:

We are a busy multi-doctor veterinary hospital in Cortez, Florida just a short walk from the beaches of Anna Maria Island. Our hospital’s services include wellness care, routine sick pet care, surgical and dental procedures for dogs and cats. At Beach Veterinary Clinic, we take a tremendous amount of pride in the standard of care that we provide to our patients and our clients.

Responsibilities for CSR (customer service representative) Include:

Answering, screening, and forwarding all incoming calls, faxes and emails.

Greeting clients for patient check in/out.

Scheduling medical appointments and surgeries for multiple doctors.

Recording and relaying information to appropriate team members

Maintaining medical documentation.

Processing payments, refunds, cash handling

Clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of front office and lobby.

CSR's are the face of the hospital and the client's main point of contact, it is of the utmost importance that our front desk is friendly, inviting, patient and caring.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma/GED

Receptionist experience, front office representative or similar

Experience with office equipment (e.g. fax, printers, scanners,)

Experience with computers (e.g. emailing, document attachments, windows programs)

Professional attitude and appearance.

Verbal communication skills.

Time management, multitasking, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Previous Veterinary or Medical office experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
