Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital is a AAHA accredited small animal hospital with two clinics located in Charles City and Waverly, IA. We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join our four veterinarian team. Our practice is well established and continually growing. In addition to excellent medical and surgical care, our focus is on the client experience. We enjoy forming long-term relationships with our clients and their pets. We also have a friendly, experienced, and well-trained staff that is ready to help you succeed.

Associate Veterinarian responsibilities: * Examine and treat animals on an appointment basis.

• Cultivate positive relationships with customers and their pets through regular communication and excellent record-keeping.
• Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care.
• Perform or assist with surgeries.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
• Work collaboratively with team members in a professional and courteous manner.
• Make decisions confidently and effectively.
• Manage time and tasks appropriately.
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
• Cover occasional on-call days for emergency services.

Salary: Based on experience and number of hours worked.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
