South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit working to end poverty on the South Shore - seeks part-time and full-time Van Drivers for our Plymouth and Attleboro/Taunton routes.
POSITION: Great for Retirees
Core Responsibilities:
Providing safe and efficient transportation of ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients. Providing safe and efficient transportation of ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients. Transportation of medically involved clients to a variety of appointments throughout the South Shore and Boston. Responsible for daily online paperwork and communication with the Transportation Office.
Core Qualifications:
Clean RMV Driving Record last three years. Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening. Ability to pass a CORI check pre-employment post-interview. Must comply with COVID-19 PPE protocols on the vehicle. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility within the program. Responsible for all agency-owned equipment.

- All candidates must undergo a background check where applicable; prior to beginning employment, including a pre-employment drug screen, and post-interview, with CORI, and SORI.
- Positions are open until a suitable candidate is found.
- Valid MA state driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
