Choice Building Supply, a leading supplier of lumber and building materials in the Cortez area, is recruiting for members of our Truss Plant Team to assist in the assembly of roof trusses at our truss plant in Cortez, CO.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Cut and assemble truss components per plans.
Run a component saw for the truss table.
Perform duties essential to professionally complete each truss assembly project; including but not limited to, placing connector plate at each truss joint by hammering in place, rolling a machine over the truss to embed the connector plate, manually press the truss through to finish, and then move each assembled truss to the yard for delivery preparation.
Maintain a neat and orderly job site at all times
Positive interaction with employees and customers
Represent Choice Building Supply in a professional manner at all times
Being alert at all times
Follow all safety rules

Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday some weekend if necessary to complete deadlines.

Experience:
Assembly Experience: 1 year (Preferred), will train the right applicant

License/Certification:
Driver's License (Preferred)

Work Location:
At least 18 years old
Able to perform manual labor
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to effectively follow written and verbal instructions
Dedication to safety
Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds
Able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
Able to pass background and drug screen
