Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 7:30pm until completion of work
Pay: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience
401K: 60% matching up to 10% of salary

General Summary
Drives transport double-trailer route as assigned each working night. Follows procedures established for each round trip between Florida facilities as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a pre-trip inspection for each segment of daily assignment.
• Performs the task of hooking up and dropping off trailers during nightly routes as well as during rotation on Yard Work assignment
• Drives tractor and doubles to all Florida facilities as assigned.
• Reviews truck loads assigned in order to ensure proper route trailers are hooked up.
• Verifies with warehouse personnel that products on the truck correspond to the route assigned.
• Checks truck in at the end of the shift ensuring the inside of the truck is clean.
• Operates vehicles in a safe manner and obeys all Florida State and DOT laws.
• Performs post-trip inspection.
• Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
• Work overtime when required.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1-year previous experience as a driver .
• Valid Class A CDL license plus doubles/triples endorsement and acceptable driving record required.
• Valid DOT physical card

• Regularly required to drive a transport truck to deliver trailers between all Florida facilities.
• Able to regularly perform the task of hooking up and dropping off trailers and dolly during nightly routes, as well as, during rotation on Yard Work assignment

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment.
• Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions.
• Possible exposure to loud noise and high places.
