Western Engineering is an asphalt paving company that is employee owned. We have stationary asphalt plants located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Fort Calhoun Nebraska as well as portable plants for mobile operations. From large highway projects to commercial parking lots, we bring expertise and skill to every project we do.

Position Overview:
Western Engineering is looking CDL class A and B drivers to operate dump trucks, belly dumps and flow boys. You must be dependable and willing to work flexible hours as schedule demands with night work possible in some jobs. This position may also include traveling throughout the states of Nebraska and Iowa dependent on job locations. You will be responsible for the operating of the vehicle as well as pre/post trip inspections.
Applicants need to be motivated, dependable individuals, be a team player and can work others.
Requirements
Successfully pass employment drug screening testing
- Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement.
- Hazmat and tank endorsements a big plus
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to, material hauling of aggregates, asphalt to job and plant sites, driving service units and other tasks as assigned.
Possibilities of working day and night shifts as required by task/job needs.
