We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as a Travel Agent and Travel Agent admin who wants to learn to be a travel agent. Admin position is 20-30 hours per week @ $15.00 per hour as independent contractor. This role requires an individual who is passionate about travel and enjoys helping people plan their dream vacations. As a travel agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including cruises, hotels, tours, and excursions. This opportunity requires you to live close to Parkland, Florida as this is where the training will take place in person.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
• Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including cruises, hotels, tours, and excursions
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the booking process and travel experience
• Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in travel regulations
• Maintain accurate records of client information, bookings, and payments

Requirements:

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for travel and experience in travel planning
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field (preferred, not required)
• Previous experience in travel sales or customer service (preferred, not required)

We will provide initial training and support, but the successful candidate will be expected to work independently and sustain themselves over time. Compensation will be commission-based, with the potential for growth and remote work opportunities as proficiency increases.
