Specialized Construction Services, LLC is a National Heavy Construction Company. We are looking to immediately hire an experienced Tool Attendant/Asset Manager for an MSHA Constrution Project. Must have EXPERIENCE!

JOB SUMMARY: The Toolroom Attendant will be responsible for administering daily functions of jobsite Toolroom to ensure sufficient availability of working tools, parts and consumable materials for construction and maintenance personnel.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Maintain and track inventory of company tools and consumables on site.
- Distribute tools to employees per company guidelines.
- Receive tools, log in inventory, clean and tune/sharpen as necessary, inspect for missing parts and damage.
- Repair or replace broken and damaged tools as necessary.
- Inspect room and contents at start of shift and secure contents and lock-up at conclusion of shift.
- Complete purchase order for new and replacement tools.
- Place orders for consumables (welding rods, sandpaper, grinding wheels, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work area.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma preferred and on-the-job training required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:
- Utilize various computer equipment for data entry and retrieval.
- Effectively communicate with staff and management as well as vendors.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Maintain organization of tools, parts, records etc.
- Record and track details – part numbers, maintenance records, etc.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with possible exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and in all types of weather and temperature conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Manual dexterity, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Frequent climbing stairs/ladders, bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, reaching and crouching.
- Occasional work on ladders, scaffolding or high structures.
- Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents.
- Hearing capacity to receive, perceive and react to common construction environment auditory stimuli.
- Lifting and/or exerting of force up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds of lifting/force frequently and up to 10 pounds of lifting/force constantly to move objects.
- Frequent driving of motor vehicles.
