About the Position:
Our client is seeking a Thermal Engineer II/III to work on several exciting programs, including the development of lunar landers, vertical takeoff vertical landing (VTVL) rockets, and R&D projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating thermal solutions. This is a full-time position based in Mojave, California.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, experience designing or analyzing thermal control systems, and proficiency in CAD and lifecycle management tools. They must also be adaptable to a startup environment and have effective communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements:
The candidate must have experience in thermal modeling software and be capable of developing thermal test plans, conducting testing, and documenting results. They must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements and be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
