Job description

-Performs tasks related to the processing of all instrument sets used in the Operating Room, Women’s Center OR and all sterile, reusable items used in patient care. -

-Assembles and delivers surgical case carts to the distribution area. Initiates, monitors and records various monitoring devices used in the quality control procedures for sterilization. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by the Manager or Director.

Mon thru Fri - Evenings/Nights $2.00
Sat & Sun: 25% more an hour
Shift Differential Kicks In at 7:00 pm

• Licensure: n/a
• Certification: Certified Central Supply Technician: CRCST or CSPDT; or HSPA Experience: New grads accepted; Minimum 2 years' experience preferred.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Sterile Processing Program or complete appropriate military training program for surgical technology or provide evidence of employment to practice surgical technology in a health care facility in SC prior to 1/1/2008 Preferred:
• Experience in decontamination processes/equipment, sterilization processes/equipment, & instrumentation/equipment involving Davinci Xi, Endoscopes / Arthroscopes, Orthopedics,& Neuro. Automated Washers, Ultrasonic Washers,Case Cart Washers. Steam Sterilizers, Low Temp Sterilizers.
