The Application Tooling Division of TE Connectivity is currently seeking an Test Technician to join our team. Application Tooling is a worldwide engineering and manufacturing business unit that designs and manufactures application equipment, associated tooling and precision machined products for all markets.

Our Operations Associates support our tooling business by both assembling and repairing our various machine and Hand Tool product lines. This position is located at our 2901 Fulling Mill Rd Middletown, PA facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for Assembling, upgrading, servicing and repairing basic and complex machines. Monitors operational quality of systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions and implements repairs to eliminate problem.
• Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. May act as local on-site representative to customer’s organization.
• Measures, examines, and tests completed units to detect defects, implements repairs and ensures conformance to specifications.

What your background should look like:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 3-5 years experience in related field (machine assembly, machine operator, etc.)
• Basic Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Must have the ability to disassemble and re-assemble various types of mechanical parts and basic understanding of trouble shooting techniques. Should have basic understanding of blueprints.
• Requires a mechanical skill sufficient to visualize and assemble equipment utilizing sectional blueprints and be able to condition parts and working mechanism to permit the equipment to produce a product to engineering specification.
• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of machine building; including mechanical assembly, wiring, electronic assembly and programming
