AMI is seeking a full time Technical Aide-Receptionist to join the teams in the Toms River office location! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.

The Technical Aide-Receptionist is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Prepares charts and registers patients;
• Takes patient history and processes paperwork;
• Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere;
• Assists the technologist with patient care;
• Greeting patients and escorting patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions;
• Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed;
• Provides Receptionist coverage as needed; and
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This full time, 40 hour per week position will provide coverage in the Toms River Route 37 West office location. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with one 11:30am-8pm shift during the week, and rotating Saturdays with a shift time of 7:30am-4pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Candidates for this position must have a High School diploma or equivalent. CPR certification (hands-on instruction) required prior to the start of employment. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent organizational skills, has well developed customer service skills and maintains patient privacy at all times. Candidates must maintain attention to detail in all aspects of their work at all times and must be skilled in utilizing standard office equipment, with intermediate computer skills. Previous radiology practice experience strongly preferred.
