The Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District No. 47 is seeking experienced and innovative elementary teacher to provide literacy intervention services to students at Rice Elementary. Preferred candidates will have experience using technology in meaningful ways for teaching and learning, will have background in Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS), LETRS (science of reading) training, and will have previous experience working with elementary level students.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring.
- Maintain records of interventions and progress monitoring to insure process fidelity.
- Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
- Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses as needed
- Provide high quality general education instruction to students who are at-risk
- Use identified scientific, research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student difficulties.
- Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during interventions.
- Provide the high quality instruction time needed to move students to grade level proficiency.
- Participate in universal screening activities and assist with the analysis of the data to identify students in need of response to intervention services.
- Provide data to the school teams and participate in decisions about student progress.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Minnesota teaching license in elementary education or K-12 Reading.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful experience implementing literacy interventions
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject area
- Experience using technology to augment student learning
CONTRACT:
1.0 FTE beginning the 2023-2024 school year; salary based on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Association's Master Agreement.
